GIVING THANKS

We have been extremely lucky to receive lots of re-conditioned tools for our allotment. All thanks to a wonderfukl scheme called Toolshed, who work alongside The Conservation Foundation and HMP Hatfield. Old tools are donated to the prison, the inmates then go on to fully restore and repair them, before giving them away to community projects, like Unity. Thank you so much for your donation, they will have many years of use from our young people.

We have had the benefit of working with Fareshare for over a year and it has been a real support for The Unity Project. It has enabled us to provide breakfast for our young people, setting them up for a positive day’s learning.

It has also enable us to provide Food Technology lessons for all key stages. Our students absolutely love being able to design and make their own meals!

In addition, it has allowed us to provide students with food parcels to take home, every week. A truly wonderful charity, doing amazing work, thank you!

Our ongoing initiative, “Healthy Bodies = Healthy Minds has enabled us to work with the wonderful staff at Rileys Gym! We would like to say a special thanks to Pop and Rob. Each week they put our students through their paces and set personal goals, as they build their physical and emotional strength and resilience.  Our young people (and staff!) thoroughy enjoy the sessions.
